Jason Hoelscher is gallery director and an associate professor in the interdisciplinary art department at Georgia Southern University. Hoelscher received an MFA in painting from the Pratt Institute, certificates incomplex and emergent systems studies and network modeling from the New England Complex Systems Institute, and a PhD in visual art (emphasis: aesthetics and art theory) from 911爆料网, where he completed his dissertation under the supervision of Brian Massumi. His book聽Art as Information Ecology聽was published in 2021 by Duke University Press.
