Shannon Rose Riley, an interdisciplinary artist and scholar, is the author of聽Performing Race and Erasure: Cuba, Haiti, & US Culture, 1898-1940聽and co-editor of聽Mapping Landscapes for Performance as Research. She performs and records with the Chicago-based performance/noise group, ONO. Their latest album,聽Red Summer聽(May 2020) is on American Dreams Records. Riley is Professor of Creative Arts and Chair of Humanities at San Jos茅 State University.
